My name is Angela Huerta, I am originally from Los Reyes Michoacan, Mexico. I’ve been married for 35 years to Alfredo Pegueros; we have 4 children- Lily, Susan, Angie, and Alfredo.
I am active in local community events. When my children were in high school marching band, I always helped clean the industrial kitchen in the concession stand. I found that this was my favorite way to contribute to Friday night football games. During the summer, the local schools would allow us to volunteer our time and help clean the exterior of the school. I always made sure to bring my children so that they could take pride in making sure their school was clean.
I try to make myself available to help the members of my community, especially when they are sick. I enjoy helping people that do not have a local support system available to them during their time of need. Most often, I help keep their home clean while they are unable to.
OUR HISTORY
The lack of employment opportunities in our home country made us make the decision to immigrate to the United States in 1993. That is what brought us to Calhoun, GA. My husband and I began working in restaurants, carpet production, and in residential and commercial cleaning. From January 2011 through 2017, we oversaw the custodial services of Turf Store. During this time, we worked under the name of Calhoun Cleaning Services. This was my mother’s cleaning company
My mother chose to retire, and subsequently, the company closed. Due to this, I began to work for other cleaning companies. I knew that I wanted to keep working in custodial services. I worked with CBS Management of Chattanooga, TN from 2018-2021. During this time, I worked at LG Hausys America in Adairsville, GA.
OUR BUSINESS
In January of 2022, my oldest daughter Lily and I decided to start our own cleaning business. We began L&A Amazing Cleaning Services. Because I have extensive experience in the industry, I have observed the need that industrial carpet-producing facilities have for a trustworthy, local, and competent cleaning service. A quality cleaning service is hard to find, so much so that these facilities must contract companies from Atlanta and Chattanooga. My goal is to provide local jobs with flexible schedules for my employees to accommodate their personal needs and fulfill my business’s commitment to excellence.
